Saturday 9:00 AM. Breakfast with Santa in Layton at the Davis Conference Center.

Saturday 11:00 AM. Grand America Hotel for some Christmas Story Reading Time with Leo and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Rocky Mountain Cup

I am taking responsibility for the safety and protection of the Rocky Mountain Cup because Hey! who would try to steal from a lion? We made this video to scare the Colorado Rapids and let them know they would have to go through me if they want the cup back. It worked.

RSL on a roll!

We are going to Seattle to play for the MLS cup. We are leaving on Thursday and hope to see as many of you there as possible. Check out this picture. We had a good crowd of a couple hundred gathered at the airport to greet the Eastern Conference Champions Real Salt Lake.

Happy Halloween! We won our first playoff game on Halloween night 1-0. It was good to see you all in your costumes. Here's a picture of me in my Superman costume flying around the stadium before the game.

Long Time No Talk

Its been a crazy couple of weeks since I have last updated the blog but hopefully I have seen you around at Real Salt Lake soccer games and events. Some highlights of the last couple weeks were the Special Olympics in Provo and the Cystic Fibrosis Walk-a-thon in Ogden. I also met two American Idol Stars. David Archuleta came to our game on Saturday and sang his hit songs, and I met Megan Joy at the grand opening of Anytime Fitness in Draper. Despite a busy schedule I have had many opportunities to work on my soccer skills and play soccer with many kids from Salt Lake to Brigham City. Also, keep your eyes peeled for some public safety commercials staring Leo that we filmed last weekend.

Who listened to the coach's show last night with Coach Kreis? It is on every Tuesday night from 6-7pm on Kall 700. Each show is at a different Rocky Mountain Chevrolet dealership. I am there every week so come join me when we are in a town near you. There is a good chance you could win a prize.

At the games I like to hang out with my buddy Ben. If you want a picture taken he is always there to take it; if I need some help with my big flag or my new bike he is always there to help out. These are some pictures Ben took at our games. Make sure to say hi to Ben next time you see him.

Weekend

This morning I attended an assembly at Lone Peak Elementary. Congratulations to everyone who won prizes and good job accomplishing your reading goals. I hope to see you all soon at a game. Now I plan to have a relaxing three day weekend.

Road to Success

Today I met many new friends at Eagle Valley Elementary School. This year the students improved their test scores in reading and as a school they read over 6 million minutes. Many bikes and prizes were given away at the assembly. It was an honor to be involved in the Road to Success reading program. Hopefully I can come visit again and have a teatherball rematch against your teacher.

Coach's Show

Last night I hung out with Coach Kreis and some RSL fans at Jerry Seiner Chevrolet in Salt Lake City. Don't forget to tune in to KALL 700 every Tuesday night from 6-7pm for the weekly Coach's show.

Brett and I will be headed back to Costco in Orem shortly. Hope to see you there.

Weekend Excitement

Have you guys met Brett from the team store at Rio Tinto Stadium? He is the one who sells all the cool Real Salt Lake Merchandise. On Friday night Brett and I went to visit Costco down in Orem. They are selling some RSL merchandise to help raise money for Primary Children's Hospital. We were fortunate to meet many kind Costco shoppers and employees. Tonight we are going to the Costco in Bountiful at 6pm and then we will be back in Orem on Wednesday night. Hopefully we will see some of you there.

Before the big game on Saturday I went to South Ogden to visit some youth soccer players who were signing up for their soccer season. While I was down there I had the chance to cheer on all the athletes who ran the Ogden Marathon.

Who made it to the big game on Saturday? I saw many of you there and met many new friends. It was a tough loss for the guys, and I sprained my ankle doing a back flip off the wall between the field and the seats. However, it was still a great game thanks to all the cheering fans and smiling faces. I can't wait for our next game on June 6th.

Wear Your Seat Belt!!

Today the policemen came to visit Rio Tinto Stadium so that we could talk about how important it is to wear seat belts. Don't forget to wear your seat belt when you are going to school or soccer practice. This is a picture of me with all the police motorcycles.

Leo the Lion

I have been so lucky to meet many new friends this season, and I hope to keep in touch with you all through my new blog. Thank you all for coming to say hi and letting me visit your schools, soccer games, and parties. I love soccer and I hope to see you soon at soccer events.

The past couple weeks have been a blast. You should go see the paw print I decorated for the Bruin Bash at Salt Lake Community College.

After the eating contest there were only about 25 donuts left. My friend Grizzbee and I decided to share.
